ORPAC Mission

Juntos 2020

ORPAC District Mission Trip

Quick Look Into Juntos 2020

Important Info
ORPAC enjoys an incredible legacy of being one of the strongest missions-supporting districts in our denomination. One thing we have been missing over the past 10 years or so, is a district NMI sponsored W&W trip. The district NMI theme last year, and for the year coming up focuses on the word “Together” (‘Juntos’ in Spanish). We really are better together! Through two teams, we will partner with our brothers and sisters in Argentina to accomplish Construction, Evangelism, Medical and Leadership Training projects.
More About Juntos
Who?
We have 49 people from 18 different churches on ORPAC and 1 non-denominational church in Portland. Ages range from 12-77 and include doctors, nurses, computer programmers, accountants, pastors, contractors, students, caregivers, airline pilots, homemakers, military personnel, cashiers, pharmacists, retirees and more. That’s worth celebrating!!
When?
First Team- October 13th-24th, 2020

Second Team- October 24th- November 4th, 2020

** Please note, as the airline costs vary from day to day these dates may change a day or two on either side of the dates listed above until we are able to firmly nail down the exact date with cost. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this. We will give the firm dates as soon as possible.
Where?
We are headed to the Formosa region of Argentina near the border of Paraguay. We will be working on the Native People’s District, where Carlos Radi serves as D.S. For logistical reasons, it is a possibility that the teams will fly in and out of Asuncion, Paraguay instead of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Cost
$2500.00 per person.

Crow Applegate has 5 people going on this mission. We need to raise $12,500 before September 1st, 2020
